A rich and creamy classic New York cheesecake with a graham cracker crust.

- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and sour cream.
- Pour the mixture over the crust in the pan.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the center is set.
- Cool the cheesecake in the pan for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients and do not overmix the batter.
