A fun and easy treat with vibrant red, white, and blue colors, perfect for holidays like the Fourth of July.

- 4 cups of cereal (such as Rice Krispies or Fruity Pebbles)
- 1 cup of mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- Red food coloring
- Blue food coloring
- 1 cup of white chocolate chips
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and gently mix in the cereal until well coated.
- Divide the mixture into two bowls. Add red food coloring to one bowl and blue food coloring to the other, mixing until the desired color is achieved.
- Press the red mixture into a greased baking dish and allow to cool slightly.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler, and pour over the red layer.
- Add the blue cereal mixture on top of the white chocolate. Press down gently to form an even layer.
- Top with sprinkles if desired.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares or bars to serve.
Notes
To enhance the festive look, use star-shaped cookie cutters to shape the treats after they have cooled. For a healthier twist, substitute cereal with granola or use organic marshmallows.
