Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of frozen hash browns
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1 packet of ranch dressing mix
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Toss the frozen hash browns into the crockpot.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, ranch dressing mix, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper; stir until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the hash browns and stir gently; sprinkle half of the shredded cheese into the mix.
  4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for about 240-360 minutes (4-6 hours).
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and cover.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
