- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients and ensure the mashed potatoes are chilled.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into 1.5-inch balls. Chill if too sticky.
- Set up bowls for beaten egg and breadcrumbs.
- Dip each ball in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray the basket.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Serve immediately with dipping sauces.
