- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 cup Diced Onion
- 6 cloves Minced Garlic
- 5 cups Water
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 pound Penne Pasta
- 4 ounces Cream Cheese
- Fresh Parsley for garnishing
- Fresh Basil for garnishing
Instructions
- Season chicken thighs with salt and spices, then flatten them.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and pan-fry the chicken until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken and prepare the creamy sauce in the same pan using drippings.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, then pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions, reserving some starch.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce, toss to combine, and adjust with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Slice the chicken and serve on top of the creamy pasta.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and basil before serving.
