Description

A quick and delicious creamy pasta dish that brings the flavors of Italy right into your kitchen, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds Chicken Thighs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Chicken Bouillon Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Crushed Pepper Flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Diced Onion
  • 6 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 5 cups Water
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 pound Penne Pasta
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese
  • Fresh Parsley for garnishing
  • Fresh Basil for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt and spices, then flatten them.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and pan-fry the chicken until golden brown.
  3. Remove the chicken and prepare the creamy sauce in the same pan using drippings.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, then pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions, reserving some starch.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce, toss to combine, and adjust with reserved pasta water if needed.
  7. Slice the chicken and serve on top of the creamy pasta.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and basil before serving.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, substitute heavy cream with a plant-based alternative and use dairy-free Parmesan cheese.
