Description
Indulge in the silky, savory delight of Cheesy Garlic Parmesan Spaghetti, a comforting dish packed with rich flavors, creamy cheese, and garlic.
Ingredients
Scale
- 250 g (8 oz) Spaghetti
- 60 g (4 tbsp) Unsalted Butter
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) Olive Oil
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 100 g (1 cup) Parmesan Cheese, grated
- Black Pepper, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh Parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions, usually about 8–10 minutes, until al dente. Reserve 120 ml (½ cup) of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
- Sauté the Garlic: In a skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Once the butter melts, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1–2 minutes, until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Combine Pasta with Sauce: Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine. Gradually add the reserved pasta water until the pasta is well-coated and creamy.
- Add Cheese and Season: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta while tossing until melted into a creamy sauce. Season with black pepper and salt to taste.
- Serve: Plate the spaghetti and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
For a stronger flavor, consider mixing Parmesan with Pecorino Romano cheese. Avoid overheating the garlic as it can taste bitter if burned.
