Description

A comforting creamy pasta dish bursting with flavors of garlic and parmesan, perfectly coating tender chicken and al dente noodles.


Ingredients

  • 400 g (14 oz) pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 500 g (1 lb) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 240 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
  • 100 g (1 cup) grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 120 ml (½ cup) of pasta water.
  2. Sauté the chicken in a large skillet over medium heat with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. Cook the garlic in the same skillet until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Make the sauce by pouring in the heavy cream and simmering. Add the parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine the cooked chicken and drained pasta with the sauce, tossing to combine. Adjust sauce thickness with reserved pasta water as needed.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the chicken to prevent dryness. You can prep ingredients a day in advance for convenience.
