- 1 head green cabbage, sliced thin
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup heavy cream or half and half
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Slice the cabbage into thin ribbons.
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced cabbage and sauté for 6-10 minutes until tender.
- Stir in garlic and cook for another minute.
- Pour in the cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, topped with extra Parmesan and black pepper.
Notes
Feel free to add protein like chicken or shrimp for a heartier meal. Top with fresh herbs for added flavor.
