Ingredients

- 2–3 lbs of crab (blue crabs or other varieties)
- 1 lb of small potatoes (such as new potatoes or fingerlings)
- 1 lb of sweet corn (cut into halves or thirds)
- 1–2 links of Andouille sausage (optional)
- 1–2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning (or to taste)
- 4–6 cups of water
- Salt (to taste)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
- Melted butter (for dipping)
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and add salt and Old Bay seasoning.
- Bring the water to a boil.
- Add the potatoes and cook for about 10-15 minutes until they are tender.
- If using sausage, add it now and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Add the corn and crab to the pot.
- Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the crab is heated through.
- Drain the mixture and serve immediately with lemon wedges and melted butter.
Notes
For an even more flavorful boil, consider adding other seasonings like garlic or a splash of beer. Use fresh seafood for the best taste.
