- 8 pieces Chewy Caramel Squares
- Cooking Spray (Prevents sticking.)
- 4 Tbsp Melted Butter
- 1 Tbsp Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- Vanilla Ice Cream
- Caramel Sauce (For drizzling.)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F or air fryer to 350°F. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, packed brown sugar, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon until combined.
- Slice the top off each apple and use a corer to remove the core, stopping before reaching the bottom.
- Cut each apple cut-side down into thin crosswise slices, being cautious not to cut all the way through the bottom.
- Stuff each apple with two chewy caramel squares and brush the melted butter mixture all over the top and into the crevices.
- For the Oven: Place the apples in a greased baking dish and bake until tender for about 30 minutes.
- For the Air Fryer: Arrange the apples in the basket and air fry at 350°F for about 20 minutes.
- Serve the warm apples immediately with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle with caramel sauce.
