Butter Poached Lobster Tails with Risotto


Description

Butter Poached Lobster Tails accompanied by Risotto is a delicious dish that blends the delicious flavors of lobster and the  creamy and comforting rice. This recipe is ideal for celebrations or for a relaxing meal at home. The succulent lobster, paired with the rich texture of risotto makes an exquisite meal that looks elegant yet is actually quite simple to prepare.


Ingredients

  • Eight lobster tails frozen and thawed
  • 1 cup of butter that is high-quality, premium
  • Sea salt To taste
  • Smoked paprika
  • Ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1  lemon
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for Risotto)
  • 1. Small onion chopped
  • 3 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 cup Arborio rice
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

For Simple Risotto:

  1. Make the broth by heating it in a large pan until it is hot and bubbling.
  2. Heat a large saute pan on medium heat. Melt the butter.
  3. Add diced onions and garlic and cook until the garlic is translucent.
  4. Add the rice, sprinkle with salt, then toast for just a few minutes.
  5. Add the broth gradually one cup at a time while whisking continuously for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Incorporate the Parmesan cheese to melt it. Then make sure it is kept warm.

For Butter Poached Lobster:

  1. Prepare a large pan filled with salted water the point of boiling.
  2. The lobster tails that have been frozen and thawed should be cooked for around 7 minutes before changing the cooking time to bigger tails.
  3. Put the cooked tails into cold water. Then, peel them with kitchen shears.
  4. In a small pan melt the butter, then spice it up with salt and pepper, as well as paprika and parsley. Then, simmer the mix.
  5. The lobster tails can be poached in butter to cook for 1-1.5 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately over risotto and serve, drizzled with butter and squeezes of lemon juice.

  • Choose lobster that is of the highest quality for the best taste.
  • Be cautious not to cook the lobster too long, since it could become tough.
  • The risotto is stirred frequently to let the starches release and create a smooth texture.
