Description

A decadent Black Forest Cheesecake blending rich chocolate, creamy filling, and sweet-tart cherries for an irresistible dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 2 oz dark chocolate, shavings for garnish
  • Cherries for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Mix crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter. Press into springform pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold into cream cheese mixture.
  5. Pour over crust. Bake for 50-60 minutes until set.
  6. Cool, top with cherry pie filling, dark chocolate shavings, and fresh cherries. Chill before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt; for a dairy-free option, use vegan cream cheese and coconut cream.
