  • 1 cup Water, to dilute (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, mix the freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar, and water. Heat the mixture just until it reaches a boil, allowing the sugar to dissolve completely.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool. Once cooled, pour it into an airtight container and place it in the refrigerator to chill completely.
  3. While the base cools, use a mortar and pestle to gently crush the mint leaves. This step helps release their aromatic oils, enhancing the flavor of your winter lemonade.
  4. In a large pitcher, mix the chilled lemonade base with the crushed mint and the freshly squeezed mandarin juice. Add water to dilute to your desired taste.
