Description

Rich, chewy, and absolutely delicious white chocolate blondies that are super easy to make.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 225 g butter (melted and cooled)
  • 340 g light brown or demerara sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 285 g plain (all-purpose) flour
  • 100 g white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) and line a 9-inch (23 cm) square baking tin with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the sugar and eggs, stirring until well mixed.
  3. Melt the butter either on the stove or in the microwave, then allow it to cool. Slowly pour the melted butter into the egg and sugar mixture while mixing.
  4. Add the flour to the mixture and blend until fully incorporated.
  5. Stir in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top. Optionally, sprinkle some sea salt on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the edges are set and the top is lightly golden.
  8. Once baked, allow to cool completely in the pan before lifting out and cutting into 9 equal squares.

Notes

Store the blondies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze wrapped tightly for up to 3 months. For added flavor, mix in nuts or use high-quality chocolate.
