- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush pear halves with olive oil and place cut side up on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes until tender.
- Sprinkle with walnuts and blue cheese; return to oven for 5 minutes.
- Drizzle with honey, add pepper, and garnish. Serve warm.
Notes
For a fall twist, substitute honey with spiced maple syrup. This dish can also be modified for a vegan version using dairy-free cheese and agave syrup.
