- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup self-rising flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cottage cheese and self-rising flour. Stir until a soft dough forms. It may look slightly sticky at first, but that is exactly what you want.
- Scoop small portions of dough and gently roll them into bite-sized tots using your hands. Do not overwork the dough; a light touch keeps them tender.
- Arrange the tots on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the tots are golden and lightly crisp on the outside.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. They firm up slightly as they rest.
