- 0.5 cup Thickened Cream
- 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Granulated Coffee
- 12 Tartlet Shells
- 0.75 cup Thickened Cream
- 0.75 cup Mascarpone Cheese
- 0.25 cup Caster Sugar
- 1.5 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Prepare Tartlet Shells: Process flour, sugar, and butter in a food processor until crumbly. Add an egg to form a dough, roll out, fit into a muffin pan, and chill for 2 hours before baking until lightly golden.
- Make Coffee Ganache: Heat thickened cream, brown sugar, and granulated coffee in a saucepan until dissolved; remove from heat and stir in chopped dark chocolate.
- Create Mascarpone Cream: Combine mascarpone cheese, caster sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing briefly until well combined.
- Whip Cream: Whip the thickened cream until soft peaks form and fold into the mascarpone mixture gently.
- Assemble Tartlets: Fill cooled tartlet shells with coffee ganache, chill until set, and top with whipped mascarpone cream.
