An easy and delicious homemade pizza recipe that’s perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients

- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Your choice of toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, olives, etc.)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add in flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a bowl coated with oil, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Once risen, punch the dough down and roll it out into your desired shape on a floured surface.
- Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce over the crust. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and add your favorite toppings.
- Transfer the pizza to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and crispy.
- Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
Notes
Store leftover pizza in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
