Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups strong espresso at room temperature
  • 1 package ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by ensuring your cream and mascarpone are at room temperature.
  2. Whip the cream, sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks are formed.
  3. Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese.
  4. Brew espresso and let it cool, then pour it into a shallow bowl.
  5. Dip ladyfingers quickly into the espresso and layer them in an 8×8 inch pan.
  6. Spread half the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then repeat the layers.
  7. Dust with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
