Description

Delicious homemade truffles combining rich dark chocolate with zesty orange for a perfect holiday treat.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder or shredded coconut for coating

Instructions

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it simmers.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in dark chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  3. Add orange juice, zest, and vanilla extract; stir until combined.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 2 hours until firm.
  5. Form small balls from the mixture using a scoop or your hands.
  6. Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or shredded coconut to coat.
