Description

A quick and easy recipe combining the richness of steak and the sweetness of shrimp, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or filet)
  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 lemon (cut into wedges)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then cook in a large skillet with 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds, then add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink.
  3. Slice the rested steak against the grain and plate it alongside the sautéed shrimp. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.

Notes

For best results, let steak come to room temperature before cooking. Pair with sides like garlic mashed potatoes or grilled asparagus.
