Description

Delightfully soft and chewy strawberry sugar cookies infused with freeze-dried strawberry powder for a fruity twist.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons freeze-dried strawberry powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  6. Gently fold in the freeze-dried strawberry powder until the dough is evenly colored.
  7. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the cookies are slightly puffed in the center.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
