- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons freeze-dried strawberry powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Gently fold in the freeze-dried strawberry powder until the dough is evenly colored.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the cookies are slightly puffed in the center.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
