Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup pecans (or walnuts)
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the mixed greens thoroughly and spin dry.
  2. Hull and slice the fresh strawberries into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large salad bowl, combine the salad greens, sliced strawberries, and crumbled goat cheese. Sprinkle the pecans on top.
  4. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, starting with half and adding more to taste.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
