Description

Create spooky spaghetti eyeballs for a fun and creepy Halloween dinner. This kid-friendly recipe uses simple ingredients to make pasta that looks like eyeballs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 12 large black olives, pitted and halved
  • 12 small white mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Add marinara sauce to the skillet with the ground beef. Stir to combine and heat through.
  4. Stir in butter, Parmesan cheese, and milk until the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss to coat.
  6. To make the spooky spaghetti eyeballs, place two olive halves onto each mozzarella ball half to create an eyeball effect.
  7. Serve the spooky spaghetti with the eyeball decorations on top. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For extra creepy eyeballs, you can add a small dot of black food coloring to the mozzarella ball before adding the olive halves.
  • Ensure the mozzarella balls are small enough to resemble eyeballs when paired with the olives.
  • This spooky spaghetti recipe is perfect for Halloween parties.
