A succulent and tender slow-roasted leg of lamb, perfect for any special occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 (5 lb) leg of lamb
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 sprigs fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 cup red wine
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Combine garlic, rosemary, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Rub the mixture all over the leg of lamb.
- Place the lamb in a roasting pan and pour red wine around it.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 4 hours, or until internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For a more intense flavor, marinate the lamb overnight.
