Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 small green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef along with the diced onion and bell pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Drain any excess grease from the meat mixture.
  3. Stir in the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Stir well and allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes on low heat.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  5. Spoon the meat mixture onto your hamburger buns and serve.
