Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups bell peppers (1 cup red, 1 cup yellow)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 0 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian herbs
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the bell peppers and onion, and mincing the garlic. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent (about 3 minutes). Then add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula; cook until browned (about 5 minutes).
- Stir in bell peppers along with salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian herbs; cook until peppers are tender (approximately 5 more minutes).
- Serve warm on plates or bowls; enjoy it plain or over rice/quinoa.
