Ingredients

  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 pound of ground sausage (any flavor)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Optional: fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground sausage, breaking it into small pieces (5-7 minutes).
  3. In a bowl, combine the cooked sausage with the softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder; stir until creamy.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and place a spoonful of the sausage cream cheese mixture at the broad end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough from the wide end to the pointed tip, enclosing the filling.
  6. Place each crescent on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and let cool slightly before serving.
