- 1 pound ground sausage (Italian or breakfast sausage)
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until it’s browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Lower the heat, add cream cheese, stirring until melted and combined with the sausage.
- Add shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
- Mix in the diced tomatoes and garlic powder, stirring well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
Notes
For a spicier dip, add chopped jalapeños or use pepper jack cheese. Can be made dairy-free with appropriate substitutes.
