Description

A creamy and cheesy dip made with ground sausage, cream cheese, and shredded cheeses, perfect for gatherings or game day.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground sausage (Italian or breakfast sausage)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until it’s browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Lower the heat, add cream cheese, stirring until melted and combined with the sausage.
  3. Add shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  4. Mix in the diced tomatoes and garlic powder, stirring well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve warm with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier dip, add chopped jalapeños or use pepper jack cheese. Can be made dairy-free with appropriate substitutes.
