Description

An indulgent cheesecake that combines cream cheese, chocolate chips, and a salted caramel topping for a rich dessert experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
  • Salted caramel sauce (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour filling into the crust and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  6. Cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  7. Before serving, drizzle with salted caramel sauce.

Notes

Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature to avoid lumps in the cheesecake.
