- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the sugar until golden caramel forms, then pour it into the flan mold.
- Blend the evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture over the caramel in the mold.
- Prepare a water bath by placing the flan mold in a larger baking dish filled with hot water halfway up the sides of the mold.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until set.
- Cool and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Run a knife around the edges, invert onto a plate, and serve.
Notes
Ensure to use room temperature eggs and milk for the best texture. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon for a beautiful presentation.
