- 500 g Mini Sweet Peppers (about 1 lb)
- 250 g Italian Sausage (9 oz)
- 150 g Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (1 ½ cups)
- 120 ml Pizza Sauce (½ cup)
- 1 tsp Dried Oregano
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Wash the mini sweet peppers thoroughly and slice them in half lengthwise to remove the seeds.
- Cook the Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until browned.
- Combine the cooked sausage, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, dried oregano, and seasoning in a mixing bowl.
- Stuff the halved mini peppers with the sausage mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes until the peppers are tender and cheese is melted.
Notes
Avoid overstuffing to prevent bursting, and make the filling ahead for convenience.
