Description

Oreo Truffles: The Amazing Ultimate Recipe That Will Wow You

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped (or chocolate chips)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother coating)
  • Additional crushed Oreos or sprinkles (for decoration, optional)

Instructions

  1. Follow these easy steps to create your delicious Oreo Truffles:
  2. Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they are finely crushed. You can also place them in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin if you don’t have a food processor.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. Use a spatula or your hands to mix until well combined and smooth.
  4. Using a cookie scoop or your hands, take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until the truffles are firm.
  6. While the truffles are chilling, melt the semi-sweet chocolate. You can do this in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth. Adding a tablespoon of coconut oil can help make the chocolate coating smoother.
  7. Remove the chilled truffles from the refrigerator. Dip each one into the melted chocolate, using a fork to help coat them evenly. Tap off any excess chocolate and place them back on the parchment paper.
  8. If desired, sprinkle crushed Oreos or other toppings on top of the chocolate-covered truffles before the chocolate hardens.
  9. Place the coated truffles back in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate has set.
  10. Once the chocolate is hardened, your Oreo Truffles are ready to be enjoyed!
