Cozy Orange Jam with Warm Spices for Easy Citrus Preserves
Ingredients

- 4 cups orange puree (from peeled, deseeded oranges)
- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 box (1.75 oz) powdered pectin
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 4 cups granulated sugar
Instructions
- Peel, deseed, and puree the oranges until smooth. Measure 4 cups of puree.
- Combine orange puree, zest, lemon juice, spices, and powdered pectin in a large heavy pot.
- Bring to a rolling boil over medium-high heat, stirring often.
- Stir in sugar all at once and return to a full rolling boil for 1–2 minutes.
- Check for set (220°F). Ladle jam into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace.
- Water bath process jars for 10 minutes (adjust for altitude).
- Remove jars, cool on a towel, and check seals after 24 hours. Store in a cool, dark place.
