One Pan Cowboy Butter Tortellini Steak Bites is a simple yet decadent meal featuring steak bites in a rich cowboy butter sauce, paired with cheese tortellini.

- 1 ½ lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Pat the steak dry and cut into uniform 1-inch pieces. Season with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In a bowl, melt the butter. Stir in minced garlic, red pepper flakes, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, parsley, and chives. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and cover with foil to rest.
- Deglaze the pan with water or chicken broth. Add tortellini and cook according to package directions until tender.
- Return steak to the skillet with tortellini. Pour cowboy butter over everything and add Parmesan cheese. Toss to coat and heat through for 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use a cast iron skillet for better searing.
- Adjust red pepper flakes according to your heat preference.
- Garnish with extra parsley or chives if desired.
