- 1 cup Bertolli extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 16 ounces Bocconcini or ciliegine mozzarella
Instructions
- Combine the olive oil, minced garlic, fresh basil, thyme, oregano, red pepper flakes, and kosher salt in a mixing bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly blended and fragrant.
- Add the drained bocconcini or ciliegine mozzarella balls to the bowl with the marinade. Gently stir them until each ball is completely coated.
- Marinate the mozzarella balls for at least one hour, or longer if time allows. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days.
