Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bertolli extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 16 ounces Bocconcini or ciliegine mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Combine the olive oil, minced garlic, fresh basil, thyme, oregano, red pepper flakes, and kosher salt in a mixing bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly blended and fragrant.
  2. Add the drained bocconcini or ciliegine mozzarella balls to the bowl with the marinade. Gently stir them until each ball is completely coated.
  3. Marinate the mozzarella balls for at least one hour, or longer if time allows. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days.
