Description

A rich and gooey No-Bake Chocolate Cream Pie that’s quick and perfect for busy days.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups crushed chocolate cookie crumbs (Oreos)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, divided
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • Whipped cream or Cool Whip, for garnish
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder, for extra flair

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the crushed chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a pie dish. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the semi-sweet chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring frequently until smooth. Cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, beat 1 cup of heavy whipping cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip.
  4. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the granulated sugar until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  5. Slowly add the melted chocolate to the cream cheese mixture, mixing well until combined. Gently fold in the whipped cream until no streaks remain.
  6. Pour the chocolate filling into the prepared crust and smooth it out. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
  7. Before serving, top with more whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother filling. Don’t skimp on the chilling time for the best texture.
