  • Nashville Hot Seasoning
  • Flour

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the mozzarella sticks in half if they are too long.
  2. Sprinkle the Nashville hot seasoning generously over each slice of beef bacon.
  3. Wrap a slice of seasoned beef bacon around each half mozzarella stick and secure with toothpicks if necessary.
  4. In one bowl, place flour; in another, beat some eggs.
  5. Dip each bacon-wrapped mozzarella stick first in flour, then in the beaten eggs, and back into the flour.
  6. In a deep pan or fryer, heat oil to 350°F (175°C) for frying.
  7. Carefully place the coated mozzarella sticks in the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Use a slotted spoon to remove the sticks from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate.
