Description

A refreshing blend of sweet melons and pineapple, dressed with zesty lime and fresh herbs. Perfect for summer gatherings or a healthy snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, cubed
  • 2 cups ripe cantaloupe or honeydew melon, cubed or balled
  • 12 cups juicy watermelon, cubed or scooped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • A handful of fresh mint or basil, chopped (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Chili powder or Tajin (optional)
  • Crumbled feta or goat cheese (optional)
  • Toasted coconut flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the fruits as needed; cut the fresh pineapple into bite-sized cubes and proceed to cube or ball the cantaloupe or honeydew melon. If using watermelon, cube or scoop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add all the melons and pineapple. Drizzle with lime juice, sprinkle lime zest, and add fresh herbs if desired. Gently toss until evenly coated.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 15–30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Just before serving, sprinkle with a pinch of salt and optional toppings like Tajin, crumbled cheese, or toasted coconut flakes.

Notes

For an extra sweetness, consider adding honey for kids. Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
