- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup matcha powder (culinary grade)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, matcha powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, slice into squares and serve.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For a stronger matcha flavor, increase the amount of matcha powder.
