A quick and delicious low-carb twist on classic bacon cheeseburger flavors, all baked into a hearty casserole.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (or substitute)
- 1 tbsp mustard (optional)
- 1 tbsp ketchup (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove, crumble, and set aside.
- Brown the ground beef in the remaining bacon grease, adding onion and garlic until soft. Season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in softened cream cheese until melted, and mix in crumbled bacon.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, mustard, and ketchup, then stir in half of each type of cheese.
- Spread the beef mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the egg mixture over it. Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing. Garnish as desired.
Notes
