Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Low Carb Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole that offers the flavors of a classic cheeseburger in a healthy, budget-friendly meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 6 strips of bacon
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: bell peppers or mushrooms
  • Optional: jalapeños, paprika, or cayenne for spice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. In the same skillet, brown the ground beef until fully cooked and drain excess fat.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Crumble bacon into the egg mixture, add ground beef, and half of the cheddar cheese, then mix well.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set and bubbly. Let it cool slightly before serving.
