- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 6 strips of bacon
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: bell peppers or mushrooms
- Optional: jalapeños, paprika, or cayenne for spice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, brown the ground beef until fully cooked and drain excess fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Crumble bacon into the egg mixture, add ground beef, and half of the cheddar cheese, then mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until set and bubbly. Let it cool slightly before serving.
