Description

A comforting dish that combines meatloaf with creamy loaded mashed potatoes, topped with cheese and bacon.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, egg, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form into a loaf in a greased baking dish.
  4. Layer mashed potatoes over meatloaf.
  5. Top with cheese, green onions, and bacon.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes or until cooked through.
