Ingredients

- 1/2 cup probiotic yogurt
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup or honey (to taste)
- Pinch of pepper
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients. Juice and zest the fresh lemons.
- Add the yogurt, almond milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, turmeric powder, vanilla extract, hemp seeds, maple syrup, and a pinch of pepper into your blender.
- Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds. For a colder smoothie, add ice cubes and blend again.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness with more maple syrup or almond milk.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately, garnished with hemp seeds or lemon slices if desired.
Notes
Chill yogurt and almond milk for a refreshing drink. Can be made dairy-free by using non-dairy yogurt.
