- 2 1/2 cups uncooked sticky rice
- 8–10 leaves dried bamboo leaves
- 1/2 pound pork belly
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/2 cup raw shelled peanuts
- 2–3 pieces Chinese sausages
- 2–3 pieces scallions
Instructions
- Soak the sticky rice overnight or for at least 6 hours.
- Wash the soaked bamboo leaves thoroughly.
- Marinate the pork belly in a mixture of soy sauces, salt, Shaoxing wine, sugar, and white pepper.
- Soak the peanuts in water for 1 hour, then boil for 10 minutes.
- Combine the drained sticky rice with soy sauce and salt.
- Fold in peanuts, Chinese sausages, and scallions.
- Line a bamboo steamer with soaked bamboo leaves.
- Layer the rice mixture with pork belly.
- Cover the mixture with remaining bamboo leaves.
- Steam the dumplings over high heat for 60-90 minutes.
- Keep dumplings warm until ready to serve.

- Adjust the amount of soy sauce to taste.
- Ensure the bamboo leaves are properly soaked to avoid tearing.
