Description

A refreshing and delightful Korean Strawberry Milk that takes just 10 minutes to prepare, combining fresh strawberries and creamy milk into a sweet treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 ounces fresh strawberries
  • 34 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Zest from 1/2 lemon (optional)
  • 1/2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 2 cups cold milk

Instructions

  1. Hull and chop 6 ounces of fresh strawberries in a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the strawberries until crushed, then blend with sugar and optional lemon zest and juice.
  3. Simmer the mixture in a pot over medium-low heat for 2-5 minutes until it thickens into syrup.
  4. Cool the syrup and transfer to the fridge to chill.
  5. In glasses, divide the cooled syrup evenly and top with diced strawberries.
  6. Pour in 2 cups of cold milk and stir gently to combine before serving.

Notes

For added flavors, consider using vanilla extract or lemon. Adjust sugar to taste.
