Description
A classic KFC coleslaw recipe you can easily make at home, bringing together crunchy cabbage and carrots in a creamy dressing.

- 1 small head green cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 large carrot, shredded
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrot.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture and toss to combine.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt and buttermilk with almond milk mixed with vinegar.
