Deliciously Easy Italian Sub Squares for Family Feast Nights


Ingredients

  • 1 can Refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz Sliced ham
  • 8 oz Sliced salami
  • 8 oz Sliced pepperoni
  • 8 oz Sliced provolone cheese
  • 8 oz Sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Roasted red peppers
  • 1/2 cup Sliced banana peppers (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Chopped black olives (optional)
  • 2 large Eggs, beaten
  • 1 tbsp Dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, sealing the seams.
  4. Layer the sliced ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, and mozzarella over the dough.
  5. Add the roasted red peppers, banana peppers, and black olives over the meats and cheeses.
  6. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and seal it over the top layer carefully.
  7. Brush the beaten eggs over the top layer, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing into squares.
