- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the cream cheese until well combined, then add the egg while mixing continuously.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped strawberries without smashing them.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
