- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 oz high-quality smoked salmon, sliced
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp capers (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with chopped dill and lemon juice until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture generously over each toasted baguette slice.
- Layer smoked salmon on top of the cream cheese.
- Garnish with extra dill and capers if desired.
- Serve immediately on a platter, drizzled with additional lemon juice if preferred.
